On the palate the wine is full, well-rounded, fleshy and well-balanced. The finish is long and fresh, with sumptuous fruit flavours and a hint of blackberry jam, accented by hints of liquorice and cigar-box.
This wine with its characteristic connotations of red fruits (cherries, morellos…) is subtly woody.
The advantages of the pebbly soil and mild temperatures give a wine with good backbone, very close to the fruit, extremely delicate, with excellent tannins.
